Women Empowerment and Relief Measures

Increasing rate of unemployment is a serious concern with rapid population growth and persistence of poverty. IES recognizes skill up-gradation and capacity building as an essential element to empower poor to ensure their earning capacity and equitable development. Women employment is also one of the key aspects of up-gradation of their status. IES in association with Secours Populaire Francais (SPF), France provides training to promote self-employment, micro-enterprises and to upgrade status of socially and economically backward classes of the society.
