Recycling of Marble Slurry Waste for Environmental Improvement at Udaipur

1. Workshop on ‘Waste as Resource’
H. E. Shri Madal Lal Khurana, Governor - Rajasthan inaugurated the workshop on May 22, 2004. Around 50 participants attended the Workshop. During the Workshop, problems caused by the marble slurry and its optimum utilization were discussed. Types of products that can be made from the marble slurry, the different kinds of mix and their cost and benefits analysis was also discussed with the experts. This interaction will help in formulating an effective strategy for marble slurry utilization as well as generating awareness.

2. Workshop on ‘Recycling of Marble Slurry’ at Udaipur during January 4-5, 2005.
Shri Lalit Mehra, Chairman - Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board has inaugurated the workshop. Around 50 participants attended the Workshop.
